The young singer/songwriter Jonas Alaska had great success in Norway with his gold selling (15 000 copies) debut album, for which he was nominated for 3, and won the Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann) for «Best New Act» in 2011.

The second album, If Only As A Ghost was recently released in Norway, again to much praise from the reviewers. The first single I Saw You Kid went straight to top 5 in the radio charts, and the album entered #4 in the Norwegian Billboard.

Jonas operates within the Folk/Americana/ Pop genre, and writes strong personal lyrics, combined with clever, and sometimes shamelessly catchy tunes.

Jonas Alaska has toured Norway extensively, and headlined most of the counties biggest festivals with his rock steady band. He has performed on most of the influencal TV shows in Norway, and positioned himself as one of the most respected new musicians to come out of Norway.
